Description Hotel: A Masseria is located at the Northern entrance of Apulia and Basilicata, near the bank of the river Ofanto that marks the border between the two regions. Your vacation begins here, in the land of great open space and wheat cultivation. The former estate, built along an old sheep track, was in fact, until last century, a sheep farm. Today, A Masseria is devoted to the cultivation of the famous "grano duro" (semolina) of Apulia.

Rooms and Services : Masseria Canestrello has six confortable guest rooms, Arcangelo, Creso, Svevo, Bronte, Simeto and Ofanto, furnished with taste mixing the old and the new. Three of them are equipped with kitchenette. Each room has its own independent entrance The guests at A Masseria have their own small apartments, furnished with every convenience. The private kitchenettes assure the comfort of those who prefer to be totally autonomous or who like to have breakfast in their own rooms The light of the Tavoliere grows softer as its reflects off the white plaster walls. The houses of our grandparents were like this once: cool, inviting, simple and airy. Services : The spacious, pleasingly hospitable interiors are ideal for sharing various moments of the day, such as the sumptuous breakfast, and for being together at dinner: in fact there is a bright, large kitchen where you can try your hand at preparing local peasant dishes. The common spaces are ample and comfortable: it is pleasant to be here with friends in autumn and winter in the sitting room with a crackling fire in the great fireplace The outdoors spaces are ample and pleasing, perfectly integrated with the landscape and the surrounding areas.
